Mr. Chockalingam Narayanan heads the equities team at Baroda BNP Paribas Mutual Fund and also plays a pivotal role in research.
He brings to the table over 15 years of extensive experience in investment research and market analysis. With in-depth knowledge and an eye for detail, he is instrumental in analysing business fundamentals to derive relevant and actionable information that drive portfolio growth at BBNPP AM. He is consistently relied upon for providing detailed analysis of the macro-economy, financial markets and ESG integration that serves as the foundation for our investment strategies.
Prior to his service with the firm, Mr. Chockalingam has worked with Deutsche Equities India Pvt. Ltd. and Batlivala & Karani Securities.
Mr. Chockalingam has a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from T. A. Pai Management Institute, Manipal.
Mr. Dey joined BNP Paribas Asset Management (BNPP AM) in August 2011 as a Senior Research Analyst. With over 19 years of extensive experience and unmatched expertise in the equities domain, he exemplifies the company’s commitment to excellence and is skilled at identifying investment opportunities – a strength that he consistently brings to the fore.
In his previous assignments, Mr. Dey has been Vice President – Research at Kotak Mahindra AMC, tracking the Automotive, Cement and Capital Goods Sectors. He was also a part of the Equity Research Team at Pioneer Intermediaries and Indiainfoline.com.
Mr. Dey is an engineering graduate from Mumbai University and has a Master’s degree in management.
Mr. Karthikraj Lakshmanan, with over 13 years of experience in the Indian equity markets, is a valuable member of the BBNPP AM investment team.
Mr. Lakshmanan has previously held several leadership positions. He served as Senior Research Analyst in the Portfolio Management Services division of ICICI Prudential AMC, prior to which he has also worked with Goldman Sachs in the Global Investment Research Division and with the Wholesale Banking Group of ICICI Bank. A seasoned professional, Mr. Lakshmanan is an astute reader of market dynamics and brings strong fund management capabilities to the table.
Mr. Lakshmanan is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management from SPJIMR, Mumbai. He has also cleared his CFA Level 3 (CFA, USA) examination.
Mr. Prakash has 14 years of robust experience in debt fund management, where his speciality lies in solving clients’ pressing challenges. As a fund manager, he develops fixed-income portfolios and processes market analytics that helps clients stay ahead of the curve.
In his previous stint, Mr. Prakash was fund manager with Kotak Mahindra Asset Management Co Ltd. and helped research equities. His commitment to clients, dedication to in-depth research, and proven expertise is what makes him stand out.
Mr. Prakash is a Chartered Accountant and has completed his Master’s in Business Administration from Kanpur University.
Vikram has over 11 years of strong fund management experience in the Fixed Income domain.
Prior to BBNPP AM, he worked with Peerless Funds Management Co. Ltd where he spent over 3 years playing a key role in the fund management and execution of mutual fund schemes. He has also previously worked with well-known firms such as Canara Robeco Asset Management & Deutsche Bank.
Academically, Vikram has a PGDM in Finance from SIES College of Management Studies, Mumbai.
Mr. Saumil Mehta is a sought after Senior Research Analyst at BNPP AM. His responsibilities include Financial Modelling, Business Analysis, Financial Analysis, and Valuation.
Prior to BNPP AM, Mr. Mehta has been a Co-Lead – Metals & Mining, India Equity Research at IDFC Securities Ltd. handling Institutional Equities, a Senior Analyst, Asia Pacific – Metals & Mining at JP Morgan Services India Pvt. Ltd. He has also handled Investment Banking and an Analyst, Financial Institutional Group (FIG) at CRISIL handling Global Corporate Ratings.
Mr. Mehta holds a Master’s in Business Administration (Finance).
Mr. Neeraj Saxena, with a rich experience of 15 years in the Indian financial services industry, is the equity dealer at BBNPP AM. Prior to joining BBNPP AM
Mr. Saxena was the Assistant Vice President - Institutional Equity Sales at Stratcap Securities. He has also held notable positions like Head - Communication Cell at Karvy Stock Broking and Senior Investment Advisor at Iden Investment Advisor.
Mr. Saxena holds a Post-Graduate Diploma in Management with specialisation in Finance and also a Master’s Degree in Science (Organic Chemistry).
Mr.Agnivesh Dubey has been in the Fixed Income Trading domain for over 5 years and handles the responsibility of being the dealer in the fixed income domain for BNP Paribas Asset management.
Prior to joining BNP Paribas Asset management, Mr. Dubey worked with SPA Securities Ltd as a Fixed Income Dealer. He has also worked with the other leading firms including Quant Broking Pvt. Ltd.
Mr. Dubey holds a Masters in Commerce from Mumbai University.

Jayesh has close to 20 years of experience managing equity funds. Previously, he has worked with Aditya Birla Sun Life AMC where he was the Senior Portfolio Manager Multi-cap/Mid-cap strategies that had an AUM of over USD 700 million, as well as with Morgan Stanley Investment Management, India on-shore leadership team where he served as the Lead Portfolio Managers for 7 years. In terms of education, Jayesh has a Master of International Management (MIM) from Thunderbird, USA, Chartered Financial Analyst, USA and Chartered Accountant designation from ICAI India. As a volunteer, Jayesh also served as the President of CFA Society of India (2013-18).
