Mr. Bhattacharya has been offering strategic advice to McKinsey & Co. since 2007. He has actively contributed as a member of Securities Appellate Tribunal (SAT) from 2005 to 2007. Prior to that, he has been instrumental in making impactful decisions as the Managing Director of the State Bank of India from 2003 to 2005.
As a Director, Mr. Bhattacharya also leads renowned companies like JSW Energy Ltd., JSW Power Trading Co. Ltd. and more.

With 27 years of experience in financial services, Mr. Sachdev holds key positions across renowned companies – he is the Global Chairperson and Board Member of Financial Planning Standards Board (FPSB), a Senior Advisor and Board Member to leading financial institutions and is involved in Macro Research and ETF Asset Management business. Throughout his career, he established multi-billion-dollar asset management businesses, investing across Asia including Japan, India, Indonesia and Singapore.
As a vocal advocate of the cause of pension reform in India, he is working closely with senior government representatives. It led him to be a member of the Working Group on Pension Reform established by IRDA.
Earlier he was the co-chairman of Life Insurance and Pensions Committee, Bombay Chamber of Commerce, the President and CEO of Tata Asset Management Ltd. and the MD of Shinsei Bank Group. As the MD of Principal PNB Asset Management Company Pvt. Ltd., he is credited with building a historic partnership with Indian government to open the post office network for financial services.
He also chairs directorial positions across leading financial companies.
He holds a LL.B from Government Law College, University Of Bombay; Master's Degree in International Management from American Graduate School of International Management (Thunderbird), Phoenix, AZ, USA and a Certificate in Corporate Governance from Wharton School of Management.
Mr. Sharad Sharma is widely regarded as a visionary veteran in the Indian Banking and Financial Services Industry with over three decades of experience. He joined the BNP Paribas group in 1989.
Mr. Sharma has held various leadership positions before leading the Bank's initiative in the onshore wealth management business as Country Head. These include the distinction of holding leadership positions with Scheduled Commercial Banks (SBI and BNP Paribas) in the area of Corporate Banking, Treasury and Forex, Private Banking and Wealth Management, Retail Banking and Liability Management. He has also, in the capacity of Executive Director, been the guiding light for Geojit BNP Paribas, India's leading Stock Broking Company.
In addition to his responsibilities at the BNP Paribas Group, Mr. Sharma has served as the Chairman of Examination Committee of Financial Planning Standards Board (FPSB), India for over four years. He has held several board level positions with prestigious organisations including Financial Planning Corporation (India) Pvt. Ltd board for six years and Board of BNP Paribas Wealth Management (India) Pvt. Ltd. for over 9 years.
Mr. Sharma has a Master's Degree in Financial Management from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai, and is a Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Bankers. He has been awarded CFP certification by Financial Planning Standards Board India.
Mr. Vengayil has garnered over 25 years of comprehensive experience in the securities market addressing business management, operations, technology, finance and product management. He moved to BNP Paribas Investment Partners (the successor of Fortis Investments and ABN AMRO Asset Management) in 2004 as VP and Head of Asset Management Operations in India. He soon grew to be the COO of Asia Pacific Region and moved to Hong Kong in 2007. In 2014, he moved to London to extend the coverage to Latin America and Emerging European Markets as COO APAC & Emerging Markets. Prior to joining BNP Paribas group, Mr. Vengayil has worked with ABN AMRO Bank, Morgan Stanley and HDFC Bank in India.
Mr. Vengayil is a Director of BNP Paribas Asset Management Japan Ltd, Supervisor of the Board of BNP Paribas Asset Management Taiwan Co. Ltd. and BNP Paribas Asset Management Asia Ltd.
A Science graduate, he holds a Master's Degree in Business Administration, a Post Graduate Diploma in Finance Management and Honours Diploma in System Management.
